The sample book
Four kinds of makeover for the pieces worth keeping
Every piece here started as a chair, a bench or a set of cushions somebody almost gave up on. Pick the kind of makeover that sounds like yours, then email a photo from the contact page and a quote follows.

Accent chairs
Wood frames, club chairs, vintage pieces and contemporary ones, re-covered from the seat up. The chair that still fits the room but really, really needs a modern look is the one this is for. Mid-century and wood-framed sofas and loveseats are on the list too.

Benches, stools and headboards
Benches, dining chairs, barstools, ottomans and headboards: the small pieces a room leans on every day, covered in a cloth that suits the room they live in.

Custom cushions
Indoor and outdoor cushions, plus pillows, made to fit what you already own, from a patio sectional to a single rattan chair. Choose a color you can see from across the yard.

Pressed cane
Pressed cane replaced on seats and backs, left natural or finished to match the frame. Some hand weaving and limited small-furniture refinishing and painting are also offered, so ask about those when you send your photos.

You can provide your own fabric or order from Charlotte Fabrics through the studio, and help narrowing the choices down to the final selection comes with either route. Pick up and delivery services are available, so a piece can leave your house tired and come back fabulous.
Not sure a piece is worth the effort? The studio's own test: if it functions for you, is well made, vintage, antique or has sentimental value, it is worth saving. The studio story explains where that comes from.
